Morphotype plG3 ("Glomus T7")

distribution in root cortex

(5 - 7 um diameter)
arbuscules

vesicles
large (40 - 80 um), oval or sometimes irregularly shaped, intensively staining, often placed near the entry point

The status of this morphotype is uncertain: it might be just a special form of one of the better staining subtypes of the Acaulospora morphotype. The exact differentiation and morphotype assignment waits for a comparative study using single-taxa isolates.
